Before you start
- BI Connector is already installed on your machine. If not, go back to the installation steps for Desktop Edition (in PC clients) or Server Edition (in Server clients).
- You have your BI Connector license key handy (sent to you via email after purchase).
- The machine has an active internet connection.
Steps
Step 1 — Launch BI Connector
Open BI Connector from the Start Menu or the desktop shortcut.
Step 2 — Create your account
On first launch, you will see the Sign Up page. Enter your email address and click Create Account.
Not seeing a Sign Up page? You can directly proceed to the next step!
Step 3 — Fill in your user information
You will see the Account and License window. Fill in your user information before proceeding to license activation.
Step 4 — Enter your license key and activate
Enter your license key in the field provided, then click Activate. Wait for the activation process to complete. A success message confirms your license is now active.
Tip — No internet access on this machine? You can still activate offline. Follow the steps to activate the BI Connector license offline.
Tip — Activation not going through? Check the following:
- The machine is connected to the internet.
- The license key is entered correctly.
- If a firewall is blocking the activation, ask your IT team to whitelist the following — IP addresses: 52.223.22.71 and 35.71.188.31; URL: https://api.cryptlex.com:443.
