How do I solve BI Connector license issues raised out of config file corruption?

Sometimes when you work with valid license of BI Connector, you may end up with license status turning to "not activated" state or "expired" state.

This may be because your BI Connector config file is corrupted. We apologize for the inconvenience. Kindly follow the below steps to restore your license to activated state.

Step 1: Go to the directory where BI Connector is installed, typically:  C:/Program Files/BI Connector.

Step 2: Double click on the Log Folder shortcut.  

Step 3: Go one step back to the folder level.

Step 4: Rename the BI Connector config file located at "C:\ProgramData\Guidanz\BI Connector\BI Connector.config" to "BI Connector_old.config".

Step 5: Open BI Connector UI from ODBC Administrator and activate the license once again with all your user details. This should help you in activating the license with no issues (New config file will be created automatically).

Step 6: Open Advanced Settings of BI Connector (Press Alt+V) and specify the settings value that you have set previously.
