How to troubleshoot ‘Binary Logical operation is not permitted’ error when connecting from Tableau, Power BI or Qlik using BI Connector?

If you are getting the Binary Logical operation is not permitted error (as shown in the below screenshot), while working with OBIEE Reports in Tableau/Power BI/Qlik using BI Connector, please refer to the below steps to resolve the issue:

Step-1: Please check if you are able to get the results for the same report in OBIEE via a web browser. 


Step-2: If you are able to get the results for the report successfully, please add the following setting 

"WhereCondition=(1=1)" at the top of the "BI Connector.config" file as shown in the below screenshot.

Note: If you are using Power BI, please make sure to clear the cache of Power BI Desktop before working with the reports. Please refer to the following article with step by step instructions:

Step-3: Now try loading the report from the OBIEE in Tableau/Power BI/Qlik.
