BI Connector Desktop (Developer) Edition is licensed as per named user per machine. A named user can activate and use BI Connector Desktop Edition on one machine at any time. BI Connector Server Edition for Tableau is licensed by CPU cores if your Tableau Server is licensed by CPU cores. BI Connector license is required for all CPU cores used by Tableau server.
If your Tableau server is licensed by named users, BI Connector is licensed by the total number of explorers and viewers in the Tableau server. BI Connector license is required for all the explorers and viewers licensed in the Tableau server.
BI Connector Server Edition for Power BI to OBIEE
BI Connector Server Edition for Power BI is licensed by the number of CPU cores for the Power BI On-premise Gateway server.
BI Connector Server Edition for Qlik to OBIEE
BI Connector Server Edition for Qlik is licensed by CPU cores if your Qlik Server is licensed by CPU cores. BI Connector license is required for all CPU cores used by Qliksense server.
If your Qliksense server is licensed by named users, BI Connector is licensed by the total number of users in the Qliksense server. BI Connector license is required for all the users licensed in the Qliksense server.
