Unable to connect - Data source name not found error when connecting with Data Source Name(DSN) in Power BI

Pre-requisites

You need BI Connector latest version to connect from Power BI to OBIEE. Follow the Step-by-Step Installation Guide for BI Connector Desktop Edition for Microsoft PowerBI to install and configure BI Connector in your PC.
If you are using Microsoft Power BI Desktop December 2018 update or later, please refer to the following article.

If you are getting below error when connecting with DSN in Power BI, Please follow the below steps:

Please enter the valid Data Source Name(DSN) name on the highlighted area of below screenshot.

If you don’t have any DSN please create the new DSN on ODBC Data Sources Administrator. Please use this article with step by step instruction to create new BI Connector DSN.
