If you find any issues with Power BI Gateway in communicating with BI Connector, please follow the below steps to generate gateway logs for sending to support team for analaysis.


Step 1: Sign-in into the On-premises data gateway.

Step 2: Click on the "Diagnostics" tab and click the "Start new test" and wait until its completion.



Step 3: Now click on "Open last completed test results" and collect the opened log file.



Step 4: Also click on "Export logs" and it will open the On-premises data gateway log directory. 


 


Step 5: Collect the recently generated zip file.


Send all the collected log files to support@biconnector.comWe will analyze them and get back to you.
