Below are the steps to identify if you are using the latest version of Power BI Gateway. If you find that you are using an older version, then follow below steps to upgrade to latest version of Power BI Gateway.
Step 1: Open the On-premises data gateway on the installed machine.
Step 2: If your On-premises data gateway is an older version, then you will see the “Download” link on the Gateway UI like the following screenshot.
Step 3: Click the “Download” link and you will be redirected to the Microsoft website where you can download the latest version and install the downloaded setup.
