How to fix Type mismatch OLE DB or ODBC error

If you are getting the Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: Type mismatch. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020005 (DISP_E_TYPEMISMATCH)).  while working with Oracle in Tableau/Power BI using BI Connector, please refer to the below steps to resolve the issue: 

1. Open the BIConnector.config file from the path "C:\ProgramData\Guidanz\BI Connector\BI Connector.config".
2. Add the getDataType=0 in the top (as shown in the below screenshot).
   
   
3. After the change please ensure to remove the cache/BI Connector Data Source settings from Power BI by referring to this article.
4. Please close and open Power BI/Tableau.
