How to troubleshoot "You can't schedule refresh for this dataset because the following data sources currently don't support refresh" error in Power BI Gateway? [v 5.x]

When setting up Scheduled Refresh for the OBIEE or OAC data sources in Power BI Gateway via BI Connector, some users encounter the following error:

You can't schedule refresh for this dataset because the following data sources currently don't support refresh

You can fix the error just by clicking the Discover Data Sources shown under the error message, and continue setting up your scheduled refresh.
