How do I use BI Connector to connect Tableau with OBIEE 10g?

By default BI Connector supports OBIEE WSDL v6. If OBIEE 10g is used to connect with Tableau, then compatibility for OBIEE WSDL v5 must be enabled.

To enable compatibility for OBIEE 10g, follow the below steps.

1. Open ODBC Administrator tool.
   
2. Click "Configure" button of the DSN created for BI Connector. This will display BI Connector UI.
   
   
   
3. Click on Advanced Settings icon to open the "BI Connector: Advanced Settings" window.
   
4. Select "Enable compatibility mode for OBIEE 10g" checkbox.
   
5. Click OK.

This will allow tableau to connect with OBIEE 10g using BI Connector.
