- Open “ODBC Administrator” and click on “Configure” button of the DSN created for connecting Tableau with OBIEE.
- Click on Advanced Settings Icon to open the advanced settings dialog box.
- Select the “Enable Query Logging” checkbox.
- Click OK and close BI Connector dialog box.
Now reproduce the issue again to capture the logs. Before reproducing the issue, please make sure to rename or delete the older logs, if they exist.
This will generate all necessary logs in "biconnector.log" file for deeper analysis along with an additional log file named "biconnector.log-w.txt" under the folder "C:\ProgramData\Guidanz\BI Connector\logs".
Kindly send us both these files (biconnector.log and biconnector.log-w.txt) for troubleshooting the issue.
NOTE: After collecting the logs for analysis, remember to deselect the same checkbox. This will help in stop growing the log files unnecessarily.
